Differential Pressure Control
WORKING PRINCIPLE: -
The inlet pressure (Live steam) & chest pressure (Nozzle box) is being monitoring regularly through the pressure transmitter.
Further the control logic takes both the pressure reading & manipulate with the set parameter; delivering control o/p to be interfaced with A.C.F.C. for regulating the carrier / load.
OBJECTIVE: -
The D.P. control system is to maintain the constant different between live steam & chest pressure by regulating the load so that it ensure constant & regulated feed to milling turbine.
By Installing this system the followings are achieved: -
  • Avoid stalling of turbine due to lesser difference between steam pressure & chest Pressure.
  • Maintain constant pressure difference of 1-8Kg. Adjustable between live pressure & Chest pressure.
  • As the live pressure goes down; set chest pressure also follow down trend to maintain the constant D.P.
  • Insure TRIPPING of carrier / at very low inlet pressure (for example less than the recommended boiler pressure).
  • Avoid crushing stop frequently due to boiler pressure low.
  • Maintain constant LOAD to the mill; irrespective of over all variation of boiler pressure.
  • The above system works in accordance & proper interface with you’re A.C.F.C.

CONCLUSION: -
With the D.P. control system; It is insured that fibrizer turbine always run at constant load irrespective of boiler pressure variation.
